Jase, I will support Australia to the end, esp. since it ist he first world cup place since the year of my birth, 1974.
People in Memphis keep up with European football??? I would have thought that, like their eastern end of the state brothers- four-wheelin' and mud rasslin' would have been more in view.

1) I wasn't raised in Memphis; rather, I'm a missionary here from God's country.
2) I think you've made a false dichotomy here! As the Brits will tell you, it's the sociological equivalent of the mud rasslin', four wheelin' that truly supports football. I'm in touch with my poor Brit-cestors; I like to think when I'm supporting a 'football' team, I'm really only doing what I would have done had my folks not jumped the Isles 180 years ago!
3) Sorry Denmark didn't make it this year...;)
